Bonnie's Vintage Rocks compliments all fashion styles- from casual to black-tie affair -- featuring elements such as mother of pearl, freshwater pearls, agate, jasper, granite and a wide variety of unusual vintage beads.

For jewelry designer Bonnie Koch, a love for all things vintage is the driving force behind her creations. Since childhood in New Jersey, Bonnie has adored anything antique and unique. While other children played with dolls, Bonnie would marvel for hours at the costume jewelry treasures that graced her grandmother's multi-tiered jewelry box.

Flash forward a decade or two (or four!!), and that same little girl's passion for vintage jewelry fashion still exists today. For this suburban housewife turned designer, the artistic endeavor to create wearable art, is a thrilling journey. From the initial search for items to the final birth of a one-of-a-kind bauble, the rewards are endless.

"I'm always amazed at and proud of, the pieces I create," says Koch who admittedly "Cannot draw a straight line or sew a button!". For her, the jewelry making "magic" occurs in an old office chair with three pairs of readers stacked on her face! What started out several years ago as a therapeutic hobby has evolved into a successful entrepreneurial dream. "After I've done the dishes and helped with homework, the evening hours are mine," says Koch. Armed with a keen sense of style and the ability to blend unexpected textures and colors, incredibly unusual statement pieces are produced.

"It's a pleasure to be able to share my obsession with others," Koch says. Vintage Rocks is truly a dream come true. Not only is she able to indulge in her love affair with jewelry on a daily basis, Bonnie adds a little beauty to the world, one handmade treasure at a time. "Rock On!!."

Bonnie's Vintage Rocks has been featured numerous times on the Ambush Makeover segment of the NBC Today show.
